When the application requires clamping, positioning, holding, crimping, shearing, cutting, stamping, marking, bending, folding or welding, then one needs a force that is linear, with precise repeatibility, and also with the least possible tolerance deviations, even in hard to reach places. The TOX®-PowerKurver, is available with 2 drive variants:
The TOX®-PowerKurver, along with its extraordinary features and its uniquely developed curve geometry, offers a practial solution to the following tasks: Nearly linear force output in the powerstroke range due to its customized curve geometry Nearly linear torque output over a defined operating angle Quick approach stroke Smooth engaging powerstroke High press forces with low air pressures Highest precision during joining process (electric drive) Variable opening angle (electric drive)
Low air consumption High cycle rates; short cycle times Compact construction Able to handle large side loads Adjustability of the tooling tranverse axis
The fully developed, high quality construction guarantees a long life in mass production. The TOX®-Powerkurver was developed for the specific demands of the automobile industry, where it day by day withstands the harsh environment with excellent results. |
The TOX®-Powerkurver in comparison to toggle mechanisms: the Curve with Power.
Ordinary toggle presses have an unfavourable force curve for the positioning of the clamped parts. They offer a very limited range of precise positioning and clamping forces. The newly developed TOX®-Powerkurver has been designed to surpass any toggle press in the market. Its special curve geometry provides a powerstroke much superior to any comparable toggle press. The Powerkurver’s advantage: part tolerances and unprecise or uneven parts are compensated by this unique press design. A toggle press requires close tolerances and exact positioning. |
